The First Annual Colorado Children's Day Boulder County Family Week is a fun-filled week of activities geared toward educating and celebrating children. Below are the mission statement and goals. Please refer to the links on the left for full information.

Mission

: To reflect on the value that children bring to our lives and our future, acknowledge that all children deserve and need support, encouragement, and focused resources from their communities, by celebrating their accomplishments and nourishing them in their quest to learn.

Goals:

•      To recognize and award Boulder County children with a fun community based hands on activities week.

•      To focus and educate the public on county area community children’s activities, resources, facilities, organizations, and business support systems.

•      To provide an extended Children’s celebration opportunity by soliciting, publishing and distributing a calendar of Boulder County wide free hands-on children’s activities, to be provided at various establishments and locations through out Boulder County, that families and children can attend the following week after the Colorado Children’s Day at Boulder celebration.
